Busy Bee

I feel like this is all I ever say at the minute, but sorry for being so rubbish at posting recently! Things are super busy with me right now, with deadlines coming left right and center, it's a struggle to keep on top of everything, but come Wednesday..I will be free, hurrah.

I do however have some posts lined up over the next couple of days, so hoping to get back into the swing of things again soon.

I've had a lovely weekend, visiting friends in Lancaster and having the sweetest surprise (more to come of that in a later post!) and then having an early family birthday yesterday filled with cake and all sorts of other goodies. And this Thursday for my actual birthday I'm heading off to Edinburgh for the first time in over a month, so I'm really excited about that! Don't you just love birthdays?

I bought this dress and bag in Primark today with some birthday money I was given early, and I love them! The dress was only £10 and is such a lovely print for the (hopefully) up and coming spring and summer sunshine. And the bag was £6, I couldn't resist it's studded and chain detailing, and thought it would be the perfect size for taking out at night with me, as I always end up taking something too big into clubs with me..which just ends up getting in the way! Paired with my boots from Barrats, and leather jacket from H&M.

What have you all been up to this weekend? Does anyone have anything nice planned coming up? PS. you can't really tell from this photo..but this is how short my hair is now! I took the plunge and had seven inches of it chopped off on Friday, it's so strange getting used to it, but I think I like it.

  2. Your hair looks lovely! Bet it feels great too. You were brave having that much off, but it really suits you!
Sounds like, inbetween all the stress of deadlines, you've had a good weekend and a great birthday coming up :) At least you can enjoy that fully, knowing you're free! Try to drag your birthday out as much as possible, I always do that haha [the only thing I don't like is turning older!!].
I didn't do too much of interest over the weekend, but I did make a big purchase [my first ever SLR!] :) x

Thank you for leaving me comments, I love taking the time to read and appreciate each one!

However please don't ask me if I would like to follow you, or each other, I find it rude and it's clear you're not actually interested in reading what I have to say.

Though please do feel free to link me to your blog and I will quite happily take a look :)

If you like what you see, then why not add yourself to my lovely readers list? x
