Paisley Print

Hello lovelies, how are you all doing this week? Mine has been a hectic one to say the least, to be quite honest I feel like the world is on my shoulders at the minute. I'm really struggling to sleep without having a million things on my mind, and no matter how hard I try to keep myself organised, it just seems like everything is getting on top of me.

I'm still trying to be positive and optimistic, as everything is quite spaced out that I have planned/to do, but it's all happening so fast. If only there were more hours in the day. As you might already know, I'm wanting to do a post graduate in primary education next year once I graduate, but I've been hitting quite a few barriers. As I want to study in Scotland for it, the grade barriers are quite a bit higher than those in England and so I now need to re-take my Maths GCSE (which was almost four years ago now!) and having such a terrible teacher in high school - note, we didn't even have a proper teacher for the first three years; I was amazed to even get the grade that I did, but now I need one a step higher. So I've been enrolled to re-take my exam this June, which is more than daunting for someone who is very into things like Art and English, as opposed to the Maths and Science side of things. So it's going to be a lot of hard work, but I hope it's going to be more than worth it.

I know I just need to get my head around everything and it will all work out okay, but I can't feel like it's cracking away at me. I'm in desperate need of some relaxation! The next few months will bring, six other exams on top of my degree, a silly amount of deadlines, and three work placements. But there's also some birthdays coming up, including my own! And little visits I have planned to go back up to Edinburgh, and hopefully me and Luke booking our first proper holiday abroad together for the summer (after this is all over!) so at least I'll have those to look forward to - and breathe.

Thank you to anyone who read all of that! Please tell me I'm not alone in my little lost ship at sea, does anyone have any tips for getting rid of stress?

ps. aside from the rambles, my outfit is what I wore for work the other day. I finally got my hands on a black skater skirt I've been after, all for the bargain price of £10 from Internacional too! Paired it with my H&M paisley blouse, New Look spiked necklace, and Primark velvet boots.

  1. Oh, poor you :( You do sound like you're having a bit of a rough ride! I hated Maths [and Science] at school. But by the sounds of it, it will all be worth it in the end - just think of your goal, it will keep you going, I'm sure. And you have lots of things to look forward to too;hopefully they will help you relax a bit. I can definitely relate though - my job is really stressing me out, and I can only fully relax at the weekend. I can't see to remember what happens from one day to the next during the week as I'm so stressed! Hopefully we will both be out of this soon.
Lovely outfit, the blouse is super pretty. :) xx

  5. Wow you are going to be busy! Good luck with everything for your PGCE, I'm sure you'll get there - try not to stress, it's a waste of energy!
I LOVE this outfit, it really suits you, and the print on the top is gorgeous. I'm always a bit scared of paisley but it really works for you.

Thank you for leaving me comments, I love taking the time to read and appreciate each one!

However please don't ask me if I would like to follow you, or each other, I find it rude and it's clear you're not actually interested in reading what I have to say.

Though please do feel free to link me to your blog and I will quite happily take a look :)

If you like what you see, then why not add yourself to my lovely readers list? x
