Things have been pretty busy recently, so I thought I'd do a bit of a photo update going from New Year to..now! On New Years Eve me and my mum went shopping, and surprisingly I got loads of lovely things from Matalan in the sales! Considering I hadn't found much in town looking through the sales, I was pretty pleased.
I got my flatforms for a £5 which has to be one of my favourite most recent bargains, I'd been lusting after some for ages! Heels without the pain? What a fabulous idea. I think they'll become my new best friend when it comes to going out. I also bought a really patterned silk dress, and a cotton purple midi dress, which I wore on New Years, which you can see in my post here if you missed it!
After that it was off to Nottingham for a couple of days, catching up and having post Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Then it was back home to where I spent my time daydreaming about plans for 2013 (it feels so weird to think it's 2013! Am I the only one?) - including mine and Luke's little planned trip to Brussels in summer. And coming home to find that some deliveries had arrived for me! One of which was my new blouse from Blue Inc which has loads of little rabbits on, and is such a sweet pattern. And a little packet of studs which I customised some old high waisted shorts with, and I'm so pleased with the outcome!
Once all my deadline work was finished, finalised, and out of the way - I got to relax for my final weekend of the holidays with Luke taking a pretty little walk around where we live (and getting a huge vanilla slice!) before he returned to university in Scotland.
And finally, back to university. And back to work. Time to do it all again this year!

ooo a trip to brussels, how exciting! I can’t quite believe it’s 2013 either, it’s crazy to thin a whole year already flew by! And don’t you love scoring on sales? I always get super dejected when I can’t find anything haha but it’s great you you scored at the end :)
