DIY Studded

So maybe I'm a little behind on this, but oh well. Studding my shorts has been something I've wanted to do for ages! But I was never really too sure how, or if they would look good, or where to find the studs. And blah blah blah, I avoided it.

Until browsing ebay a couple of weeks ago and realising that that's possibly the best place to buy them from. I found so many different types, and finally settled for the spiked rounded cone shape. Though coming from China I knew they were going to take a while.

I had completely forgot about it, then one day a little package arrives with them in! Causing a spontaneous DIY outburst, digging out my old high waisted shorts and jazzing them up with my new fifty studs.

Upon ordering, I thought fifty might be too many, however that was the lowest option - but it turned out to be a perfect amount. This let me stud one side on the front completely with an equal two inches spaced throughout (yes, I measured!) and the same on my back pocket on the other side.

I absolutely love the final outcome, and can't wait to wear them, I only wish I had done it sooner! I can't recommend anyone enough to give this a try themselves, it was super easy to do, and so worth it in the end. In the long run it also saved me a good £25 considering I was debating buying a pair exactly like it..until now!

Has anyone else customised their clothing before with studs? Let me know! I'm always looking for new ideas.

Thank you for leaving me comments, I love taking the time to read and appreciate each one!

However please don't ask me if I would like to follow you, or each other, I find it rude and it's clear you're not actually interested in reading what I have to say.

Though please do feel free to link me to your blog and I will quite happily take a look :)
